Getting Started
We make it easy for you to make a decision that will increase the return on your investment and take the headache out of owning an investment property.
Here's how it's done:
1). Initial meeting - You as a property owner will meet with a Henderson Management Property manager. The manager will clearly articulate the following:
- The Mission & Goals of our company.
- Our Property Management Services.
- Our Maintenance & Repairs Services.
- Our Accounting & Reporting Services.
- Our Marketing and Leasing programs.
- Our Fee Schedule.
During this meeting the manager will become familiar with YOUR goals for owning the property. Together, you and our manager will combine your objectives with our expertise to formulate the short and long term plans to accomplish these goals.
2) Tour the property - Our manager will accompany you on a tour of your property. The manager may make suggestions to help get the property rented quickly and to prepare the property to be secure for a tenant.
3) Property research - Our manager will gather data on the property to ensure the short or long term financial success of the investment. This data may include, but is not limited to financial information, maintenance records, insurance records, HOA requirements, etc. We will collect the data needed to effectively manage your property.
4) Manager prepares & presents the Property Management Agreement - Our manager will draft the agreement that will outline the responsibilities of both the manager and the owner. This will include the scope of authority of the manager, the terms of the agreement, and the compensation of the management company.
